SNOW DAY!!

I woke up early this morning, got ready for school and started to eat some breakfast. I glanced out the window and noticed: about 4/5 inches of snow! (I know, it's not really that much, but for me--and Portland for that matter--it is a lot.) Turns out school is canceled all over, so this is turning into a sweet 4-day weekend for me. We went out to enjoy the snow this morning with the pup (and the tons of kids out playing in the snow). It's great, I think I missed out not having days like this growing up in Sac, good I'm getting a few in while I'm up here. haha.

Hope everybody is making it through this crazy winter weather. I know I'm enjoying it here, sitting by the fire, but my mom's car is not having too much fun with the freezing weather. Hope it passes down there in California soon.

Winter 3 adventures

So I'm up in Oregon with ten days of my 3-week, 3 hours/day Statistics course left. I am so anxious to get back to California for a "vacation". Brie and I are driving down together and look forward to having a great time exploring more of California (particularly the south, and its grad schools). I haven't had a dull moment up here either. Between a new puppy, working with kids @ a PT clinic, mentoring/tutoring junior high kids, and of course, class, life has been treating me quite well.
